Slash heating costs with 75% less energy consumption for affordable all year round spa use.
The SpaNET 5.5kW SV heat pump is ideally suited for spa pools up to 2500L, providing up to 5.5kw heating output whilst only consuming around 1.1kW of input power reducing your heating costs by up to 75%. With the ability to both heat and cool a SpaNET heat pump also allows you to cool your water in the warmer summer months. Can be easily installed on any spa fitted with a SV Series control.
WHY PAY YOUR ELECTRICITY SUPPLIER FOR A HEAT PUMP YOU’LL NEVER GET
Without a heat pump installed you will be paying your electricity supplier around 75% more than you need to for your spa heating. Having a heat pump installed offers such a massive reduction in electricity cost, these savings will quickly pay back your heat pump investment cost, so basically the heat pump is free!
Put simply, if you don’t have a heat pump installed your increased electricity costs will have paid for one anyway!
With ever increasing regulation and restriction on power consuming appliances such as spa pools the need for integrated heat pumps to spas has never been more important. Air sourced heat pumps are the most energy efficient and cost-effective method of heating your spa pool.
When compared to gas or electric heaters, a heat pump uses a tiny portion of energy to generate the same amount of heat output. By using refrigeration technology a heat pump can output up to five times more energy in heat compared to what it consumes in electricity.
Not only are heat pumps energy efficient they also allow high heating output on low amperage power supplies. For example a 5.5kw heat pump will provide around 5.5kw of heating power yet only consume about 1.1kW of electrical power (that relates to 4.8A @ 230V), compared to a 5.5kw electrical element which would draw 5.5kw of electrical power (23.9A @ 230V).
CORROSION RESISTANT
100% rust-proof plastic enclosure with superior UV resistance and a modern design style ensures the heat pump is aesthetically pleasing for your backyard and remains that way over time. By producing the heat exchanger coil from Titanium and exchange tank from PVC we maximise corrosion resistance to commonly used spa and pool chemicals such as lithium, bromine, ozone, iodine, salt , chlorine and baquacil.
