Astral - Main Drain with Anti-vortx Lid - Suitable for Concrete Spas
New range of Main drains according the normatives EN-13451-1 and EN-13451-3, available for public and private pools, supplied with flat grilles or antivortex grille.
- Made in white ABS and UV treatment
- 2" side connections and bottom connection with plug for fitting the hydrostatic relief valve (00277) and drainage pipe (21581).
- Recommended max. flow rate: 15 m3/h
Top Tips:
- As a safety measure, two drains should be installed in each pool at a minimum distance of 2m
- According to EN13451 the recommendation maximum velcoity through the grille is 0.5m/s
- If flat grille models are installed, the necessart measures must be taken to prevent whirlpools.
- Install the warner safety system to prevent potential bather injuries by stopping pump suction with any pressure variation.
- It is recommended by the industry that the drain be connected to a hydrostatic valve, and a drainage tube be installed to relieve the pressure that potential groundwater could exert on the pool structure.
