Socket/Spigot x Spigot BSP (British Standard Pipe thread) fittings are externally threaded on one side and are a glued type on the other. 
The glued side usually offers a size for both the socket and spigot connection making these a versatile fitting.

A pressure pipe fitting that provides excellent chemical resistance to most solutions of acids, alkalis and salts and solvents that can be mixed with water. Rated to 230psi/16bar.
