Material: polyvinyl chloride - unplasticised, PVC-U
A Smooth barb tee measuring 3/4" x 3/8" x 3/4". Use solvent weld to secure pipe in place
A pressure pipe fitting that provides excellent chemical resistance to most solutions of acids, alkalis and salts and solvents that can be mixed with water
Rated to 230psi/16bar
PVC pipe and fittings are one of the most widely used materials for pipe installations
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and common place on hot tubs, whirlpool baths, spas and swimming pools
All fittings and pipework have smooth bores which aid in good flow characteristics and resistance to abrasion
PVC is light to handle and can be easily jointed with a simple set of tools, PVC solvent cement and accessories

Top Tip:

Softening the pipe using hot water will make fitting barbed connectors much easier
#Secure in place using appropriate clip/clamp
*Secure in place with solvent weld glue
Barbed couplers are either smooth or ribbed style. They primary use is to join vinyl hose
Ribbed style barbs are for use on Vinyl or reinforced pipe# (interior is smooth)
Ribbed WILL NOT seal well if used on PVC flexible pipe
Smooth style can be used on all pipe*
