Balboa's very popular 3 kW M7 heater is compatible with the vast majority of Balboa M7 control systems, including the GS series and, GL2000 and GL2001 (but not the GL8000). It has an Incoloy element, which is perfect for most requirements.

The Balboa M7 control system uses two temperature sensors inside the barrel of the heater itself to detect the rate of water flow. This makes it much more reliable, in our experience, than competitive systems that use failure-prone moving parts instead, such as pressure switches or flow switches. M7 heaters require a minimum water flow rate of 75 litres/minute (4.5 m³/hour).

Connection
The heater is supplied with its two 2" connections and gaskets. If you are replacing an existing heater or the same time, this is usually all you need. If you need this heater for a new installation, remember to also get tailpieces for 2-inch or 1.5-inch pipes.

The heater is the same as 55626, but the heater element is incoloy.

Always match the heater number to ensure the correct specification, the 3kw can be used with GS500, 500Z, 501, 501Z (3.0KW only), 501SZ, 510, 510S, 510Z, 510SZ, 511SZ, 523DZ, GL2000 mach 3, GL2001 mach 3 systems, it is used in spa including Spaform, Hydrospa, Canadian, Aegean, Catalina, Hydropool, , Marquis Spa, , Leisurite, Leisure Bay, Signature Spas, Hot Tubs Direct.

Note: 
Always use an appropriate spanner or long nose pliers to hold the terminal base before tightening or loosening the 10mm terminal nuts.
