This lock ring turns slightly to clip in place, holding down the telescopic skimmer weir and other parts of the skim filter assembly.

This is the high volume version, which can replace the low volume version, but NOT the other way around.

Please Note: the High Volume version has eight additional oval holes. The Low Volume does not.
