This Waterway Top-Load filter allows you to deport your filtration system from a standard skimmer. It replaces an original Top-Load filter already installed in some portable spas. It can also be installed, for example, close to the ground on a terrace in a wooden spa installation.

This filter is designed to be mounted in such a way that the cartridge can be removed from above. It is comes with a PRB25 type filter cartridge but it is also compatible with a PRB50 type filter cartridge.

This Top Load filter comes with a bypass valve that opens when the water pressure is high, to prevent damage to the filter cartridge. The system makes this filter ideal for spas equipped with a two-speed pump. The water is fully filtered when the pump is running at low speed, but the valve opens to let some of the water pass without filtration when the pump is running at high speed, also preventing pressure from being lost in the massage jets.
